Step 1
Apply online
Hit the 'Apply now' button to create your profile and application to start your summer camp in China experience.
Step 2
Pay your deposit
The first step to securing your place on Adventure China is to pay your deposit. Don't worry, if your application doesn't make it past the interview stage, the deposit is fully refundable.
Step 3
Book a friendly interview
Your interview will be with one of our Adventure China experts, who have been on the program before. It's just a relaxed chat, so that we can get to know you better. We'll talk you through your next steps and answer any questions may have.
Step 4
Complete your application
Next, it's time to complete the rest of your application and upload your documents. Our intuitive and easy to use platform makes this a breeze!
Don't forget: Our team are always on hand to help with any application questions.
Step 5
Get hired
You'll have a video interview with one of partner Camp Directors. The interview will give them a chance to get to know you better and whether you're a good fit for their camp. You'll have a chance to ask them questions too!
Don't forget: Getting a place at summer camp can take anywhere from 24 hours to 1 month, so don't worry if it takes longer than you expected.
Step 6
Get prepared
We run an action-packed overnight preparation course for everyone on the Adventure China program.
Our preparation course is a great opportunity to get a taste of Chinese culture and to meet other people heading to your camp. You'll leave feeling fully prepared for the amazing summer ahead.
Step 7
Get your visa
During the preparation day, we will explain the visa process, prepare your paperwork and book your appointment at your closest Chinese embassy.
You'll then attend a face-to-face appointment to secure your China Travel (F) Visa.
Step 8
Fly to China
Book your return flights, upload your flight information and our Adventure China team will pass on the information to your camp.

Frequently asked questions
Your interview with the Adventure China team is part of the process - but don't worry, we're really friendly! We'll provide guidance, support and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the process.
If our partner camps like the look of your profile and think there's a good fit they will contact you for an interview. If for any reason you feel like the camp is not a good match you can decline an interview.
All of our partner camps are vetted and carefully selected and our recommendation is to stay open minded, as some of the best matches are the unexpected ones.
Once you have reached the ready to hire stage, our Camp Directors will be able to see your profile and invite you to interview.
Yes. We have 15 offices around the world so it is likely that we will be able to support you with your application. Call us if you're interested, and we'll do our best to get you to camp.
We will be able to get you both to camp, but we can't 100% guarantee that it'll be the same camp. Some of our Camp Directors will hire friends, but others prefer to hire people individually. Remember that you can meet up after camp for your travel.
